31 years - 31 Giveaways! #12 La Clase Divertida!!

La Clase Divertida!
This is one contest I am THRILLED about! When I received the email from Senor Gamache, I nearly jumped through the roof!

Why am I so excited about this program? Well, it's amazing! My kids BEG to do Spanish! They LOVE it! Senor and Senora Gamache have spent a great deal of time putting together a program that not only teaches in a way that makes the lessons stick, they make it fun as well! La Clase Divertida actually translates to "The Fun Class", a very fitting name!

We are currently doing Level 1 with great success. Senor Gamache has incorporated crafts, catchy songs, recipes and story telling along with language learning. Each level includes DVDs, an audio CD, craft supplies and workbooks for 2 students, and a teacher manual. The DVDs allow mom or dad to learn right along with the kids even if they have no prior exposure to the language! Also, while this program is fantastic for homeschoolers, it can be a great after school program for any child who would like to learn Spanish

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this program and have yet to find any drawbacks! Anything that gets kids excited about learning is a positive in my book!

La Clase Divertida is currently holding a fantastic sale! Here is the info, straight from them:
"We have come up with an offer to help families that would like to make the initial purchase of a Level I kit who may have been putting this decision on the back burner because of the
economy.
If you are interested in purchasing any single level, we are currently offering $25.00 off the DVD/CD Kit purchase, as well as free shipping. That is a $40.00 total savings!
Your total investment in a Level I: $85.00
Level II: $100.00
Level III: $115.00"
They also have other great offers for those of you who have already purchased Level 1 and are ready to move on to Level 2!
For all of our regular clients and/or new clients who would like to take advantage of this next offer– our offer to you is this: If you purchase one level at the regular price, you will get the second level for 50% off, as well as free shipping! The combination of sales is as follows:
Levels 1 & 2 = $172.50 (save $62.50)
Levels 2 & 3 = $195.00 (save $70.00)
Just mention this offer in the comment section of your order!"

Win It:
Senor and Senora Gamache have graciously offered a Level 1 kit to one VERY blessed reader! (A $115.00 Value!)
The kit contains everything shown and listed below (except of course your crafts will not be completed! )

We sooo want this! I think the best thing for us is that it starts so elementary, cause we know nothing. Well, I shouldn't say that...I did learn how to cuss in Spanish when I worked with a few Hispanics that were the best of jokers and would teach me a word to say to someone, only it wasn't a nice word. And I still remember those. That either shows that the bad words are the hardest to forget or says something really bad about me.

The hands on cooking and crafts at the end of the lesson is SUPER COOL! We could do this as a family!

Oh, we've been drooling over this one! I haven't invested the money in it yet because my kids are only 6 and 2... I think this would be great for my 6 year old but I'd want to repeat it in several years for my 2 year old. My 6 yo does great learning from the dvds in Muzzy Spanish, so I know the dvds would be his favorite part of this program too.

Thanks for a FANTASTIC giveaway!

Oh, oh!! We would love this! We tried Rosetta Stone with my oldest and he didn't like it at all - I was surprised, but was glad that we had a chance to try before we bought it!

This is the next things on my wish list! We would love the cooking adn crafts as those are things we could do as a family and even the little ones could join in.

I like that the lesson is on DVD and all crafts are included=less work for me :)

I really really really want this one! The best part for us is that it is sooo fun! It will also be neat to have others in the group to talk to you. I really hope I win!

Okay, I'm trying again. I'm a little strung out on cold meds today and forgot to include my favorite part about the program. I'd hate to get disqualified for not reading the directions when I would love, LOVE, LOVE to win this program. I'd have bought it a couple of times already if the money hadn't needed to be spent for other things.

My favorite thing about La Clase Divertida is the "unit study" aspect. It's more than just learning Spanish, it's about learning the culture of Mexico. And, I love that the whole family can do it together.

The thing I like most about the program is the CD's to listen to while riding in the car (or working in the kitchen!)that re-enforce the lessons.

All 3 of my dc like to listen to Spanish songs in the car already, so this program would fit right in. They all want to learn Spanish, and think this would be a great way to get the basics started.

Why have I never heard of this program before? It looks like so much fun! My oldest is taking Spanish with her friends but my littles are not getting the benefit of a foreign language. I'd love to get this for them!

Not only does it look like a lot of fun, but it's really neat that there are DVD lessons. It looks like a very complete program. Okay, that's 3 things I like do I get extra points?lol! jk. ;)

Hi! I'm from the TOS Crew, and my best friend has been using LCD and loving it. I too have considered it, but my homeschool dollars didn't stretch that far this year. I'd LOVE to win it :-). The crafts are really cool and cooking is always a hit with the kids, LOL.
Thanks!

What a great giveaway! And thank you for introducing me to a program I've never hear of, this looks fantastic. I especially like the the fact that it includes everything you need and it looks like it's very friendly to those of us who are not so good at Spanish:-) -Susan from Crew

Hands on by far - my children would love this! I actually speak Spanish but sometimes wonder how to get from speaking it to passing it along in a fun way! This would be helpful! :0)

This program looks like so much fun! I think that the Oral Conversation would be really neat to get into and work on.

Thanks for offering this as a contest giveaway!

Wow! I went to the site for this program and took a look at it. I am really impressed. There's a lot to like about this program. One thing that I think would be especially beneficial and helpful for my family is how they use repetition as well as neat activities such as cooking to help in the learning process. There's just a lot to this program that I think would work well for our family. It looks well worth the buy!

I'm so glad I noticed this one! I found out about La Clase Divertida about a year ago and have wanted it ever since. Maybe now's my chance. :)

I love that the program is multisensory...videos/audio, workbooks, and crafts. Covers all the bases!

Your button's my blog. Thanks for running this contest!

I think the hands-on element of the crafts is great. A lot of people learn by doing.

holly K said...

I like that there is a hands on component. I also like the review and the CD so that you can hear the correct pronunciation. This would be a great addition to our next school year! Thanks. cookiecutter72 at hotmail dot com

I have your button on my blog.

Sweet! I speak Spanish and would love for my son to learn, but I'm not real good about being intentional about it. I hope this will help! 20 to 30 minutes is a great length for the videos!

By the way, I decided since I'm entering so many of your contests tonight that I should put the button up on my blog! So, it's there to remind me to come back the rest of the month! ;)
